Governance and Funding

The JobFit Framework is currently funded through the City of Edinburgh Council as part of the Scottish Government's No-One Left Behind (NOLB) strategy and through the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Regional Deal.

Strategy

JobFit Framework is part of the wider Joined Up for Business strategy and Integrated Regional Employability and Skills (IRES) offer, which offers businesses a "no wrong door" approach and offers a bespoke, free recruitment and training service.

These strategies are coordinated and supported by Capital City Partnership, the anchor delivery body for Edinburgh’s employability strategy, working together to tackle inequality and poverty.  Capital City Partnership's key tasks are to advise, support and develop the city’s Jobs Strategy, and to contract, performance manage and improve outcomes from funded employability services.

Capital City Partnership is also a key stakeholder and delivery partner in the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal, supporting the Integrated Regional Employability and Skills (IRES) programme.
