Notice of Interest

Standard

  • JobFit entry-level training offer is designed to help employers access job-ready candidates with the right skills for priority sectors across the City Region.

  • Through JobFit employers are connected to a pipeline of motivated trainees who have received sector-relevant vocational and employability training, aligned to current workforce needs. This reduces recruitment time and costs while improving candidate readiness and retention.

  • Employers benefit from access to candidates who have gained recognised entry-level qualifications, received tailored employability support, and are prepared to progress into sustainable employment. The programme also supports progression opportunities within the workforce, helping address skills gaps, staff turnover, and insecure employment.

Advanced

  • JobFit advanced-level training offer helps employers in growth sectors address skills shortages and build a workforce capable of filling higher-skilled, higher-salary roles (typically £30k+). Delivered through the Skills Bootcamp model, the programme is designed to respond directly to employer demand.

  • Employers benefit from a flexible, employer-led approach that supports both the upskilling of existing staff and the recruitment of new talent with in-demand skills. Training is co-designed with employers to ensure it reflects real business needs, current technologies, and evolving industry standards.

  • By partnering with JobFit-approved training provider, using standard and/or advanced level offer, employers can develop a tailored training package that addresses specific skills gaps or shortages within their organisation. The courses focus on practical, hands-on learning and often include real-world projects or industry placements, ensuring participants are productive and work-ready from day one.

An employer might only have one or two vacancies, but JobFIt can work with other employers who are recruiting for a similar skill set to deliver a bespoke training programme that meets the needs of those employers and broadens opportunities for the learners.

Alternatively, if an employer has a high number of vacancies to fill, then a customised training programme may be developed solely for that employer.
