Today's workplaces are evolving rapidly, with employees expected to know and use a range of effective communication techniques, problem solving analytical skills on top of experience in using digital tools, specialist software and AI technologies. This programme, delivered by JobFit's trusted training provider - Direct Partners - helps participants develop the practical workplace skills employers are looking for, enabling them to balance the use of modern business technologies with the behaviours, communication skills and professional judgement needed to make a positive contribution to any organisation. You will learn useful skills and we will link you up with recruiting employers at the end.
Course content
Develop the practical workplace skills employers are looking for. Learn to balance the use of modern business technologies with the behaviours, communication skills and professional judgement needed to make a positive contribution to any organisation. Following the course we will link you with recruiting employers and arrange interviews. Course will include:
Personal development and essential workplace skills
Effective communication and professional behaviours
Introduction to AI, Microsoft and other workplace systems and software
Meet the Employer sessions, with a minimum of three participating employers
CV development and interview preparation
This course is free and available for Edinburgh residents only, aged 16 or over, with the Right to Work in the UK and communicative English.
